Visit the Pulpí Geode, the largest accessible geode in the world, and Águilas seaside town.

The Pulpí mine is oneof the most popular tourist destinations in Andalusia,, so tickets for a group must be reserved approx. 1 month in advance.

Itinerary:

A visit to the Pulpín Geode (selenite crystal cave) consists of a 2 hour guided tour. During the first phase of the visit, Learn about the extraction of minerals such as iron and lead, observe the remains of these minerals that are still seen in the access galleries..

Enter the mine, see the Giant Geode which has dimensions of 8 meters in length and 2 meters in height covered by huge plaster crystals that have been formed over the years. Enjoy a walk through history and observe one of the great wonders of nature.

Then off to the beautiful seaside town of Águilas to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and visit its old town and the CIMAR (museum of the sea) if open. Águilas will captivate you with its beaches, history and Mediterranean charm. You don’t need to go far if you wish to wander.
