Heading towards the village of Alcalá del Júcar, which is approx. 2 hours away from Torrevieja, this village is located in the province of Albacete. This place has been awarded one of the most beautiful villages in Spain.
The medieval village on the mountainside offers a beautiful setting for a visit, and a chance to take fabulous postcard pictures. Sides include, a castle located on top of the village with beautiful views of the village and the mountains, cave dwellings located on the mountainside, and wonderful nature, medieval bridges, and lastly canals along the river. Not to be missed lunch inside a cave restaurant to taste authentic Spanish flavours. This village is definitely worth a visit!
